Each DV-Cam is transferred to its own Platinum Archival DVD. These DVDs are rated to last 100 years.

This past Christmas, my brother-in-law and I schemed to commandeer our spouses collection of home movies. We then secretly had them converted to a DVD for Christmas gifts by Home Video Studio. We expected the DVD's to be a hit with the spouses (which they were) but we had no idea about how enjoyable, evocative and comforting they would be to the extended family.
