Our training and support is second-to-none. There will be twenty-one (21) days of training available to you in your first year alone!
You'll receive the detailed, proprietary HVSI Training Manual covering everything you need to know to run a successful home video studioluding: marketing, sales, operation of equipment, administration of your business, advertising, and more.
With your manual in hand, you’re ready for HVSI Basic Training. You won’t need any fatigues to negotiate the obstacle course, because we give you all the tools and skills you will need to handle any situation you may encounter. HVSI Basic Training is an intensive study into the inner workings of YOUR business. We focus on the skills you will need to be successful from the very day your business opens. As a matter of fact, we give you tools to grow your business before you even open the door. We spend 5 days teaching you the following:
Marketing Skills - What you can do immediately to bring customers to your door. We will study your business climate and individual needs with you and help you plan and execute a marketing strategy that is cost-effective and that generates long-term results.
Networking and Business Skills - We bring in fantastic and relevant guest speakers. Our speakers have extensive experience in building business relationships. They will show you how to be active in your business environment and create interest and enthusiasm around what you do. They will motivate you through example and you will leave the sessions feeling invigorated and prepared.
Sales Skills – “Potential clients are at the door, now what?” We’ll teach you proven sales skills that are extraordinarily effective. You’ll learn how to close the sale and get paid for your services on the front end. We examine sales scenarios through intensive role-plays. Robert Hanley, who has seen every situation you may encounter in your home studio, will guide you through this process with examples that have made him so successful in this business.
Profit Center Training – We’ll detail each of the twenty-one (21) profit centers and show you how to make each one work for you. By the time this training is over, you will have the ability to speak comfortably on any of the profit centers, to anyone, at any time.
Accounting and Administration – You will receive training in QuickBooks™ that includes specialized templates specific to running your own HVSI business. You’ll get expert advice on accounting procedures while benefiting from the experience of other owners.
Photo Video Production – We will show you how to create photo videos from start to finish. You’ll learn photo capturing, editing, and final presentation skills from our expert technical staff. You will create an emotional product that your customers will absolutely love.
Editing and DVD Authoring – We will teach you the basics of Final Cut Pro™ HD™ and IDVD™ and how to implement them in your projects. These skills will be essential as you continue your journey. Our tech support is second-to- none, and we’ll be there for any questions you have, long after the initial training is over.
Installation
Once you complete your initial training, it’s time for your installation! We don’t just send you a bunch of equipment and cables and wish you the best. We send an expert to your location to help you get everything in place. Our expert installation staff will spend two to three days at your location. Not only will your equipment be up and running correctly, but our staff will go into your community with you and teach you how to market and sell in your specific geographic area. You will get training in the use of your hardware and an editing refresher course. By the time our staff member leaves, you will have attained a comfort level far beyond your initial expectations.
Advanced Training 
This training usually happens in early March. It consists of a full week of in-depth technical and marketing activities. Two days of study will focus on Studio DVD Pro and will include a guest instructor from Hollywood. Two days will focus on marketing techniques and activities. The week will culminate with a celebration dinner at the founders’ country club.
Quarterly Workshops
Every quarter we host a workshop that focuses on an issue that is important to our owners at the time. We make sure the workshop content is timely and helps you make money. Workshops focus on:

3-Day Annual Getaway
