I received an email today from one of our franchisees. It read in part:
"A Mr. John Doe from Somewhere, USA called this afternoon. Apparently, he invested in ACME Digital Video Company. He is now considering on getting out of ACME Digital Video Company, since his equipment is barely working and he gets no support or training and does not know how to advertise or market."

Later that day (actually in the evening) my cell phone rang. It was John Doe. We talked for about 45 minutes. John explained: "I had the choice a year ago of either going with Home Video Studio or ACME Digital Video Company. Well, I chose ACME Digital Video Company, but I am thinking now that I should have chosen Home Video Studio." John went on to tell me he hadn’t made hardly any money in his business and that this was a common theme with people who had purchased with ACME Digital Video Company.
Apparently, John was having a very bad case of "buyer’s remorse." He had been randomly calling Home Video Studio owners for the past few days. I think he wanted to understand the depth of his poor decision and reflect on what might have happened if he had become a Home Video Studio franchisee. Of course, John got great feedback from the Home Video Studio owners he talked to. Basically, they all told him the same story: Home Video Studio is a great company to be associated with; technical support is great, sales and marketing support is great, and sales were good. According to John, every Home Video Studio owner he spoke to was a "happy camper".
This is not surprising to me. Home video studio has great training and support. Let’s take a look at just some of the high points of our support and training:
5 days of Basic Training.
2 to 7 days of training during your installation.
4 day annual convention. This year in Disney World.
4 day of Various Workshops.
6 days of Advanced Training.
Full time and fully staffed Tech Support.
Full time and fully staffed Sales and Marketing Support.
Full time Studio Agent (your personal concierge!).
Full time Creative Team.
Full time Webmaster.
Weekly National Marketing Call
Weekly National Instructional Call.
International Video Awards Competition.
The list goes on and on! After I impressed upon John how I wished he would have picked up the phone and called me a year earlier, I suggested the following: COME TO A SHOW ‘N TELL EVENT AND BECOME A HOME VIDEO STUDIO FRANCHISEE! It is never too late! If you are in the video business now on any level and your business is not at the level you desire, read further. Perhaps we can work together.
Home Video Studio has a program for video producers who are already in business, but wish to join the Home Video Studio franchise for our marketing and sales expertise. If you owned a fast food restaurant in the 1950s or 1960s, you could have purchased a McDonalds franchise. That would have been a wise and a wealthy decision. Converting from your existing video business now to a Home Video Studio franchise is a wise and hopefully wealthy decision for you in the present. Consider your current video business as a prequel and your conversion to Home Video Studio the Sequel!
Call me today and ask me how you can take advantage of Home Video Studio’s The Sequel. You may also qualify for various equipment credits!
I talk a lot about choice in this blog. The truth is we always have a choice, but we don’t always make the right decision. Give yourself and your future a first or second chance!
Let’s chat about it. Call my cell: 866-714-1956.
