HVS is going Hollywood thanks to talents of California-based videographer Frank Rohmer. Frank, who has been in the television business for almost two decades now, has joined the HVS team as a DVD author, video producer and editor of our promotional videos. He also will continue his role as a trainer and technical advisor. In addition, Frank will head up HVS's video production profit center.
Many of you already know Frank as a technical instructor at our various training workshops. He is an Apple™ certified trainer for Advanced DVD Studio Pro™, Final Cut Pro™ and other software programs.
Frank has owned his own video production company in his native California since 1992. Some of his clients are Oakley Sunglass Company, Calloway Golf, Electronic Arts and Pro Max. He has logged over 10,000 editing hours including 5,000 hours shooting videos and 1,000 hours authoring DVD projects. Before starting his own business, Frank sold broadcast video to Hollywood's major studios like Warner Brothers and Fox.
He chose to come aboard HVS after deciding to close his video company and speaking with HVS founder Robert Hanley about his career plans. Robert made Frank an offer he couldn't refuse!
Frank will work out of HVS's new West Coast office and travel to our Indianapolis headquarters periodically. He is also expected to attend various trade shows nationwide as a HVS representative. Frank is married to his wife Tammy and they have three children; Jeremy, Brandon and Noah.
