Mark Williams Bio
Born in Vietnam but living most of his life in the United States, Mark Williams is in charge of all tech support for HVS. If owners have problems working with Final Cut Pro™, IDVD™, or DVD Studio Pro™, they call Mark. His knowledge is extensive and his teaching ability is superb. Mark also oversees the HVS Tech Support Website (HVSlife.com), is the primary technical trainer for both Basic and Advanced Training, and often helps with the installation of new studios.
Mark studied classical violin for thirty-four years and has played professionally since he was sixteen. As he became interested in computers, he changed careers to specialize in IT, working for various companies as a systems administrator, security specialist, and technical trainer. He is a Microsoft™ Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), a Certified Novell Engineer (CNE), and a Certified Novell Instructor (CNI).
Mark joined the HVS family as a studio owner in 2002, but quickly, Robert Hanley, HVS’s founder, recognized Mark’s training skills. In a very short time, Mark was handling much of the Basic and Advanced training in Final Cut Pro™ software for new and seasoned HVS owners.
Mark and his wife, Margaret, have three children and recently relocated to the Atlanta, Georgia area. He speaks fluent French and enjoys computers, gaming and martial arts.
