Aunt Lucy Bio
Now living in Kirksville, Missouri, Lucy Wallace, whom everyone calls “Aunt Lucy,” is in charge of HVS’s marketing fulfillment. Aunt Lucy puts together all of the marketing packets, makes sure that all of the customer information is correct, and gets the mailings out on time. It’s a very important job and one that Aunt Lucy handles perfectly. What is even more impressive is that Aunt Lucy (who actually is Robert’s aunt) turns 84 in January 2005! She still works roughly twenty hours per week, does a considerable amount of volunteer work, and would love to get back to some serious trout fishing soon.
Throughout her life, Aunt Lucy has always been an active participant. She and her late husband, Jack, owned several mines, and they eventually landed in Colorado (in 1954) when they switched to uranium mining. Lucy has also worked for the Santa Fe Trucking Company, the Campion (Colorado) Chamber of Commerce, and has been volunteering her time teaching reading to third graders at a local elementary school in Kirksville.
In addition to doing her work for HVS, Aunt Lucy is very active in DAR, exercises daily, loves reading, and would like to go parasailing again in Florida!
