Aunt Lucy Bio
Now living in Kirksville, Missouri, Lucy Wallace, whom everyone calls "Aunt Lucy," has been working with Home Video Studio since 2002. From 2002 to the spring of 2009 Aunt Lucy was in charge of HVS's packet fulfillment. For years she would put together all our packets and mail them out to perspective HVS owners. Lucy has slowed down a bit after a few back problems last spring but stays very active. Aunt Lucy (who actually is Robert's aunt) turns 90 in January 2010! She still does a considerable amount of volunteer work, and would love to get back to some serious trout fishing soon.
Throughout her life, Aunt Lucy has always been an active participant. She and her late husband, Jack, owned several mines, and they eventually landed in Colorado (in 1954) when they switched to uranium mining. Lucy has also worked for the Santa Fe Trucking Company, the Campion (Colorado) Chamber of Commerce, and has been volunteering her time teaching reading to third graders at a local elementary school in Kirksville.
Aunt Lucy is very active in DAR, exercises daily, loves reading, and would like to go parasailing again in Florida! Aunt Lucy was a recipient of the Home Video Studio Lifetime Achievement Award in 2004.
Although Aunt Lucy is no longer working with HVS on a daily basis, we still call on her from time to time to help with mailings of our post cards, etc. In fact, don't be surprised if you see Lucy at the 10th annual Home Video Studio Getaway in July of 2010!
