Craig is best known as a "behind the scenes" kind of guy. Before coming to Home Video Studio, he made a living as a professional jazz musician playing background music for some notable singing sensations like the Temptations, the Four Tops and the Spinners. Today, he is behind the operations at HVS. He was recently promoted to Chief of Staff overseeing the day-to-day management of the company. Craig previously was the retail manager of Home Video Studio's flagship studio located at the home of HVS' founder and CEO Robert Hanley.
This South Dakota native has been in the music business and involved in audio production work for the past 20 years. Craig says performing the multitude of HVS media services feeds his creative appetite. He enjoys using such high-tech equipment to produce something very intangible like a photographic memory or sentiment.
Home Video Studio owners can hear Craig's low-keyed smooth voice every week on HVS' Monday Marketing conference calls. He shares with listeners the valuable knowledge he's gained from running Robert's studio and offers tips on sales and marketing. Be sure to tune in every Monday at 12 noon or you can find Craig teaching these same things during class at most of HVS' annual trainings.
Craig attended South Dakota State University and Ohio State University to become a music teacher. But he dropped out his senior year to play music fulltime. Craig's forte' are wood wind instruments like the saxophone, flute and clarinet. He still performs some music gigs at several Indianapolis jazz nightspots.
In his off time, he enjoys reading books on the history of philosophy or critical thinking. Craig has been married over 20 years to his wife Mary. They have three children, Christina, Michael and Anthony.
